Our Work
Fierce Mustang Media began building its portfolio in the Summer 2023 semester with its event planning and media production work with Mustangs in the Outfield. Students worked under the 1,000 Internships Initiative. Fierce Mustang Media launched as a pilot for the Fall 2023 semester with grant funding after the previous internship model was discontinued. The project included four students for Fall 2023, which looked at development, with four more positions being added for Spring 2024.

Fierce's Fall Fest in CTE Land
Fierce Mustang Media contributed event planning, social media strategy, content development, audio (radio) public service announcements, and video production to Delta College's safe trick-or-treat event for the second year in a row. Students were instrumental in getting information out to the community on a tight deadline (three weeks)

Systemic
"Systemic" is a mini documentary produced for the Delta Sierra Adult Education Alliance by Fierce Mustang Media. The work, which earned a first-place documentary finish in the San Joaquin Delta College Digital Media Film Festival. The documentary looks at the reduction of systemic barriers that adult re-entry students face.

San Joaquin Delta College Digital Media Film Festival
Fierce Mustang Media partnered with the Career & Technical Education and Workforce Development department and Directing Adults on the Right TrAC to Education (DARTE) to host a first-of-its kind film festival at Delta College. More than 60 entries were considered for the event, which welcomed more than 200 people to campus in early December.

Headshot Fundraiser
In November, Fierce Mustang Media photographers offered their photography service to the campus for a donation-based model. In total, 15 members of the San Joaquin Delta College community came for new and updated headshots that were sent to their inboxes within 48 hours of their sittings. This will be a service offered again in the future.
